(Karishma's POV) As soon as I mentioned the unforgivable actions the Black Rose Kingdom has caused unto my kingdom and to me, Arella took a deep breath and looked down to the ground.
"We're terribly sorry about what happened to you," the red-haired prince apologized with a bow.
With a blush on my face, I looked away from the prince and sighed in surprise and frustration.
"It's not a problem at all, Playdough," I said with a shrug of my shoulders, earning a small vein popping out of the red-haired prince's head.
"It's Paytah, Princess Karishma," Arella and the prince who called himself 'Paytah' chorused with a small hint of frustration in their voices.
With another shrug of my shoulders, I turned from the two young nobles and walked away from them without another word.
"Hey~!!" Arella exclaimed in a confused tone. "Where're you going??"
"The Orange Rose Kingdom, of course," I said as I looked over my shoulder. "Aren't you heading that way to speak with King George??"
Arella and the red-haired prince looked at each other, and after a long pause, Arella's gaze went from her friend to me, and I definitely could tell that she was nervous.
"Can we talk about this, Karishma??" Arella asked with a hint of nervousness.
"Go ahead," I answered with a sigh, "and you better be quick about it..."
(Arella's POV) "Can we trust this woman??" I asked Paytah in a hushed voice as Karishma turned away from the both of us.
"Well, she is the only person who can get us to the Orange Rose Kingdom," Paytah said with a nod of his head. "We HAVE to trust this girl if she says that she is the princess of the Orange Rose Kingdom."
I was ready to say something about what Paytah said about Karishma, but I quickly stopped and realized that he was right. For the first time in our lives, I actually realized that he has one hell of a great point. At this, I sighed in defeat.
"Alright, Paytah...," I sighed with a shrug of my shoulders. "We'll trust Princess Karishma."
"See you later, alligator," the voice of Karishma said as we heard footsteps walking away from us.
"In a while, crocodile~!" I exclaimed with a wave of my hand, only to realize that Karishma left Paytah and me behind.
"HEY!!!!!" exclaimed Paytah as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me along with him in such an ungentlemanly manner. "WAIT UP, KARISHMA!!!!!"
'Here we go again~...,' I thought as I tried to keep up with my fiancé and the princess of the Orange Rose Kingdom. 'This day will go down the drain and into hell itself~..."
(Paytah's POV) Once we caught up with the testy Orange Rose Princess, Arella and I were walking at the same pace with Karishma as we followed her to the kingdom she called 'home'. Obviously, it got just a little too silent for me, so I decided to start a conversation.
"So, Karishma...," I began with a hesitant tone, trying to think of what to say to the woman. "How old are you exactly??"
"My age is 18 years old, boy," Karishma said with a shrug of her shoulders as she kept walking without even turning to look back at me. "Anything else you wanna ask??"
"Yeah," I said with a tilt of my head, "why the hell do you act like a smart aleck?"
"Because I'm like that, Payless," Karishma replied, earning a frustrated sigh from me and a raised eyebrow from Arella.
"It's Paytah, Karishma~!" exclaimed Arella as she blushed at the fact Karishma was getting my named screwed up.
"Honestly, it's not my fault that his name is difficult to say!" Karishma said with a shrug of her shoulders without even giving me a second glance.
"Well, his name may be a bit difficult to say," Arella began, earning a sigh and a small frown from me, "but it's actually kinda cute for a guy like Paytah!"
I was ready to say something about the first bit, but the second bit of what Arella said made me blush, but it was all cut off when we heard something echoing throughout the Forest of Miracles
